| A Red Letter Day is a limited edition relief block print hand inked and printed utilizing an etching press. The print measures 18" x 24" on a fine heavy weight archival 24" x 30" Lana stock. Each part of the block is separately inked and fit together in a jigsaw fashion. The heavily applied oil based ink results in colors of rich luminosity and depth. Due to the labor intensive demands of printing, the edition is limited to ten impressions creating an exceptionally small edition. A Red Letter Day is part of a series of 15 images made in the 1990's. Only a few impressions from most of the editions are still available. |
