Peter Hoffer, artist, printmaker, designer, holds a BA in art from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and an MFA in printmaking from Cranbrook Academy of Art., Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. A native of York, Pa, he has since 1973 been a full time member of the art faculty of Marywood University in Scranton, Pa.

Over the years his work has been shown extensively in both juried and invitational exhibits on a regional and national level. The artists primary work has been in the area of printmaking, drawing, and mixed media collage and painting. He has also designed and published through his own Twin Pines Press several books, two of which can be found on this site: Between mirror and past, a book of poems and illustrations by the artist, and Picasso at Vallauris, an account of Picasso's work in pottery in southern France. Peter Hoffer resides with his wife Kathie in Waverly, Pa where he also maintains his studio and press.
